About
Skeebes
What is 13Cubed?
13Cubed started as a side project and was later developed into a full-fledged company. Most will recognize 13Cubed from the YouTube channel of the same name, which produces a wide range of content covering Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), as well as other security-related topics. The company also provides consulting services, and occasionally develops software distributed under the brand.
What is your background?
I received my first computer in 1984 at age seven and never looked back. I started a computer company (service, networking, consulting, and training) in 1996 shortly after I graduated from high school and sold it 10 years later in 2006. I then spent nine years at a state college in Georgia. While there, I served as Network Support Specialist, Information Security Officer (ISO), and later, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). I am currently employed by a large organization in the aerospace industry where I lead the information security team and have the privilege of working with an incredibly talented group of security professionals with expertise in digital forensics, incident response, and pen testing. I've worked in Information Technology for 24 years, 12 of which specifically in Information Security. Throughout the last 5 years I have specifically focused on digital forensics, and I am also an instructor for the SANS Institute where I teach digital forensics curriculum. I have a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and numerous industry certifications including CISSP, CCNP Routing & Switching, CCNP Security, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, and GREM.
How do I contact you?
